Symbology of Numbers
Man as master of self, being in balance and harmony will master the material plane. In keeping with the Universal Teachings, numbers are examined from that perspective. A brief overview of the numbers will prove helpful.
One
One equals UNITY.
Two
Two equals BALANCE AND HARMONY between the Spiritual/Material or Male/Female.
Three
Three represents UNDERSTANDING.
Four
Four is an ADVANCEMENT OR BLOCK.
Five
Five represents the CONNECTION TO THE MATERIAL PLANE through our five senses.
Six
Six represents MAN (man was created on the sixth day).
Seven
Seven equals a CYCLE (heaven and earth were created in seven days).
Eight
Eight represents MATERIAL MASTERY.
Nine
Nine represents CLEANSING. It is through the nine openings in the body that old material is eliminated and new material is introduced.
Ten
Ten is HANDLING (we have ten fingers and ten toes).
